Nov. 25th, 2012 08:57 pmWow, haven't posted in a bit? Not too much has been happening, been keeping busy with life things I guess.
I've decided that I'm actually going to try and write a novel (stop laughing). Been brainstorming some stuff for an idea I had. I'll post more about it once I've got something more solid locked down?
Restarted my W2 game, actually. I always hit this point in the games (usually post E4, but this time it happened before finishing the main storyline). I'm kind of a story-mode junkie, and rather than taking time to IV/EV train mons to be AWESOME BATTLERS, I just... play story mode again and again, haha.
I'm challenging myself to do a mono Normal Type run! Let's... see how this goes! :D

Oh my god you guys I am so, so happy right now. I don't even care who I have to box, SHE IS GOING TO BE ON MY TEAM. If I could get away with an entire team of Dewgongs, I totally would.But then I would lose the game OTL.
Gonna hold off on evolving her until about Lv. 47, I think. Want to snag Ice Beam rather than having to wait until lv. 55 as Dewgong. Also, since I think I'll be keeping Hemingway on my team, I'll give her Aqua Tail or Dive instead of Surf (as Hemingway has that covered). And definitely going to tutor her to know Drill Run because WHY NOT.

can't even handle that.
So pokemon. My team went through a maaaassive overhaul. As in, "there's only one pokemon from the last roster I posted in the updated one" overhaul.
Despite making such a big deal about it, in the end I boxed my Vibrava, lol. I mean, I was wandering around Route 14, and ran into an Altaria and just... so like... I caught it. And then it happened to have a really good nature and... so like... it's now on my team. OTL

Oh man, I freaking adore my Wailord JUST LOOK AT THAT BIG OL' DERPY QTPIE! And Absol is kind of a beast. Swords Dance + Super Luck + Scope Lens + a-shit-ton-of-high-crit-ratio-moves = OHKO 9 times out of 10. Looove my adorable, bashful natured Tessa!
And oh my god, Heechul. I caught a Mienfu that was Impish natured and just

Anyway, just training up before I make my way over to Opelucid City. I'm kind of nervous about facing Drayden. Dragon types are tough, and there's no way to catch an Ice-type right now (Spheal only being available in Winter, and Seel found in a location that I can't reach yet. Sigh). So, we'll see how that goes I guess.

Oh man, so I decided to train a Trapinch instead of holding off for an Altaria. The coverages were waaaay too good to pass up. Though I may just train an Altaria later anyway because ALTARIAAA ♥
In other news, my birthday is coming up. And as always, I have no plans HA. Mostly because I like keeping my birthdays low-key, so I'll probably just go out for dinner with the family or something.And also buy myself an iPad, hehehe

Guys I don't know if I want to train an Altaria or a Flygon.
I'm just.
I want a dragon. But like. I love both of these guys?
Altaria falls more into my wheelhouse of bulky mons, but Flygon is probably a lot tougher than it?
I'm just so torn.
Let's not even discuss who I'd take out for them, because right now, I have no clue.
also, I just got a Zorua and I'm like. I want to train it, but not enough to lose anyone on my current roster?
(Also, I ended up going to see Looper last night and it was really good. Didn't love it? But I liked it a lot.)

Oct. 16th, 2012 07:46 pmCurrently grinding it up. Need to hit at least level 28 before taking on Elesa. I mean, I could probably take her down at my current levels, but I've decided to stop being lazy and playing behind the curve, lol.
Replaced my Golbat with this bugger:

Decided on training him instead of a Reuniclus because tbh, I don't really like Reuniclus. >_> ~~ This guy kicked my butt a lot back in White, so I figured I'd give him a spin this time around. He's pretty fun to use! Though I wish he had proper arms =_= stuff like that bugs me I'm sorry.
A few more levels and I can evolve Irina into an Arcanine. MEGA EXCITED FOR THAT, I CAN'T EVEN. Eeee.
In other news, I really want to go and see Looper. I keep trying to make plans, but they keep falling through. Poo. Also, I saw a trailer for Cloud Atlas on TV the other day, and I'm intrigued? I'm mean, stories that involve multiple lives are kind of A Thing for me, so. Yeah, deeefinitely gonna be checking that one out when it's released.

Oct. 14th, 2012 06:16 pmOh my god, Burgh's new gym. SO COOL. I won't go into details, because spoilers, but sufficeth to say, I really like the update!
Anyway, got my badge, met Colress for the first time, and am currently dicking around the Desert Resort before I make my way to Nimbasa. Caught a Yamask! My team now looks like this:

I'm super excited to train Aziz. He's a sassy natured and loves to fight! I may just make a Gijinka out of him, we'll see. Also, I think once I'm able to catch a Ducklett, I'll retire Umi and Dmitri to free up some space in my roster. Not too sure who else I want to add, but I'll play it by ear as I go.
In other gaming news, Final Fantasy XIV: ARR's release for PS3 has been pushed back to sometime in 2013. Sigh. I was really looking forward to getting it as a Christmas gift to myself, lol. GUESS NOT. They introduced a new Arcanist class which utilizes books and runes (specializing in DoT and debuffs). SO GUESS WHAT I'LL BE PLAYING. Because books.
Also, I need to get on finding some icons for this journal. /procrastinates
